that sounds like an offer to me.
gotta wait till Monday to actually hear those words from her mouth for it to sink in.

be prepared ladies. i have decided to go on a one woman mission to bring the turban for women back.
i know they tried to revive it on the catwalk a few years ago and it didn't catch on, and i know why. the turban is low on sex appeal. in an age where sex is equated with youth, the turban is a symbol of sophistication and a certain maturity. but i think it would be pretty practical for the glasgow winters, and i have discovered recently that i enjoy a sartorial challenge. so yeah. i need to get a nice big one though, as i a huge head. and also a lovely brooch to wear on it.

I'm an American interesting in going to nursing school. I'm interested in getting my RN and NP in one fell swoop. I currently have a BA. I know of two programs in the USA that offer this however both are horribly expensive. Does anyone know of any schools that aren't horribly expensive that have a program like this?
Thanks, Sara
Cheers and good luck to anyone whose starting in January like me! Comin' up fast!! Meep!
Do you think it's right for a nursing program to flunk someone for screwing up at clinical because of something that they couldn't control? What happened was, dude got a bad migraine and ended up passing out. As a result, he missed giving a patient their insulin (sliding scale coverage for TPN) at the proper time. He did it like 2 hours later (with the instructor's approval) when he realized he had forgotten because he blacked out. Now, for obvious reasons, this is a problem. However, I don't think the guy should fail the entire course because of it. I can see removing him from the program until he can demonstrate that the problem is under control, but I don't think they should give the guy an F for it (the whole class, not just the clinical day).
I'm fresh back from another week in the seaside town that they forgot to close down. In brief: it was ace. I made several excellent purchases, consumed many fine meals, met lovely new people, spent quality time with chums, and generally got to feel like myself for a week without putting up with peoples' bullshit.
Details to follow when I can be arsed dealing with the photos. Ten of your Earth gigabytes. Christ. Wedding photos to finish before that happens. Then burlesque adventure photos. Also I think I have three days of filming coming up in which I will be operating a proper, five-figure-sum video camera. Should really confirm the details of that one.
Toot toot, Interboot.
Thanks in advance for the help!
I'm trying to answer this question and seem to be having a rather difficult time
Is the partial pressure of 02 in expired air, higher lower or the same as the partial pressure of o2 in the alveoli?
Does anyone know the correct answer?
Any help appreciated! Thank you!
Can anyone tell me more about what a day in the life of a military nurse is like and what the differences are between the branches? I've already filled out the doohicky asking for more info but I figured I'd ask from the proverbial front lines
I'm working on my prereqs, but I realize I still don't have a very full picture of all the different sorts of nursing that are out there. I know some - home care, different rotations in hospitals, hospice care, ER work, lifeflight nurses - But I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for things I could read that would give me a good overview of the different sub-fields of nursing for RNs. I prefer narratives by people who've done the work over things that sound like they were written by someone in a college career services dept.
Thanks!
